Ahh the taste of spring in the air!

This tutorial was written in Corel X5, it’s written in the hopes 

you have some working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro,

 it should work in any version of PSP…

I’m using Temp 553

Click on raster 1 flood fill with paper 2

Raster 2 flood fill with the same paper

On Raster 4 and 3 using EyeCandy 4000 (any version should work)

Add a gradient glow of yellow

Glow Width 5

Soft corners 25

Overall opcaicty 100

HTML Code #ffff80 ( or a yellow of your choice in the color swatches)

I’m also adding a drop shadow

Vertical 5

Horizontal 3

Opacity 100

Blur 5

Color Black

Do this with both layers 3&4

Now to save some memory usage I merged the layers we’ve just worked with…

Raster’s 5&6 flood fill with paper1

Raster 7&8 flood fill with paper5

Click on raster 9 open up ee6 and paste over, leave the color that way as we won’t see it in the finished tag…

Click on Raster 10 add the same gradient glow from above but change the color to the pink on the frame, add the same drop shadow also…

Click on raster 12 (I made a close up of the full size tube, which I’m using) paste the close up, then click on raster 13 using your magic want select inside of the circle, then click on the tube and click on the slection tools Expand Modify by 5 use Ctril+X to cut and delete the rest

Now Go into your plug-ins and open Xero Soft Bignette

Apply these settings to the close up

Graident Shape Horizontal Sharp check marked and Invert Chec kmakred

Effect type : Foreground colour

Pattern Type Horizontal lines

Repeats 0

Width 0

Height 0

Strenght 255

Now click back on raster 12 flood fill with paper9

Raster 13 flood fill with paper 12

I am now merging layers 5-8 into one layer

Now click on raster 14 add a gradient glow but use white then a bright green

Rasters 15 do the same but make it a yellow color

Now I always take a copy of my tube and re-size it where it is 500pixels on the height

After doing this I went to the upper top most layer of my tag and pasted the sized down, then I re-sized it again by 70% make sure your Smart Size is on so it does not pixilate the image

Now take the Sharpen in the program

High Pass Sharpen Radius 5

Strength 100

Blend mode Soft Light

Now open ee5 paste this over raster 13, re-size by 65%, pull it up to the upper left hand side of the circle…

Ee23 c/p re-size by 55% pull to the middle of the bow

Ee4 c/p re-size by 40% pull to the upper right hand side of your tag, add a sharpen more to it, same setting as above, except

Make the Radius 15

Click on the layer below your word art, (after merging the two layers into one)

Open ee28 c/p re-size by 40 and pull behind the “ng” in spring

Ee27 c/p re-size by 45% pull to the left edge of the other flowers

Now click on the word art layer c/p ee30 re-size by 35% pull to the end

Ee22 c/p rotate 45° to the left

Ee19 c/p re-size by 15% , then copy again and paste a few of them all over your tag, I mirrored a few of them to make it look like butterfly’s were flying around also…
