Roses for mom

This tutorial was written in Corel X5 but any version should work

Effect’s Used

Xero Fritillary

Drop Shadow

High Pass Sharpen

Delete the copyright layer, and uncover the background layer and delete the white

Click on 1 and flood fill with pp8

Merge 5&6 then flood fill with pp4

7 flood fill with pp9

Merge 2&3 then pick a color from the kit or tube, a light pink is what I picked

Now Go into Effect Xero: Fritillary

Apply these settings

Granularity 5

Aggression 30

Tesselation 100

Variation 35

4 leave it as the color it is, since it’s pink

CircleFlowerFrame2 c/p re-size by 90% add a drop shadow of your choice

Merge 8-11 into one layer

FlowerSquareFrame, c/p re-size by 30% put this over all 4 squares then

High  pass sharpen

Radius 10

Strength 50

Blend Mode: Hard Light

Now take the color layered version of your tube, which ever layers you wanted to use

I did brown hair, and the pink/purple layer, and merged into one

I re-size it by Pixels so the height was no higher than 500

I pulled it behind the 4 green squares; you can colorize the squares if you wish

Merge the two word art layers and add a gradient glow of pink to the words

Glow Width (pixels) 4

Soft Corners 25

Overall Opacity 100

Then add a drop shadow with these settings

Vertical 5

Horizontal 3

Opacity 50

Blur 5

Color Black

Now go up to the very top layer

Rose3 c/p re-size by 50% pull it where it covers the bottom of the, tube then copy and mirror the re-sized version and pull it to the other side to cover all of the tube, on the bottom….

Bell c/p re-size by 50% pull to the far left hand side of the tag,

Daisies c/p re-size by 50% pull the right hand side of the rose’s

Box c/p re-size by 30% pull over to the left of the rose, then take

Basket and sit on top of the box, c/p re-size by 40% pull to the left of the rose’s…
