Elegance in Snow

Hello it’s cold enough here to snow today so I am working

With a winter kit, By Pink Paradox Productions

Titled Glistening Snow

This tutorial was written in Pain Shop Pro 9

, it is written in hopes you have a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro,

 but any version should work

The tube is a full size image of 2491x 3778 pixels, which is huge,

So I copied the colors on the tube I wanted and re-sized on the height to 600 pixels high

I also took the full size and made 2 separate close up’s, one of her head, and one of her down to the knees, you never know which one you will use…

Open a 700x700 size tag, you can re-size it later

Frame8 c/p re-size by 60% lave in the middle of the frame, add a sharpen more to the frame…

69 c/p re-size by 45% pull it to the far right hand edge of your frame, the tube will be pasted over it, then copy and paste on other side of frame, merge them into one layer…

37 c/p re-size by 65% pull so it looks’s like it is hanging on the two trees…

111 c/p re-size by 70% pull in front of the right hand edge of snow tree…

11 c/p re-size by 65% pull to the upper top most of tree’s to make it look like they are jumping over them…

37 c/p re-size by 45% pull to look like it’s hanging off the first deer’s leg…

Take one of the close up you made of just her head and chest area, and paste then re-size it by 50% pull it to the bottom of the frame…(always save often, and merge layers when needed…

135 c/p re-size by 50% move to the lower left hand edge of tag, then copy re-sized version and paste it on the right hand side of tag, merge the 2 layers into one..

76 c/p re-size by 45% pull to the lower right hand edge of snow…

5 c/p re-size by 35% pull to the left hand edge of your snow…

59 c/p re-size by 40% pull to the left hand edge of snowman (5)

116 c/p re-size by 60% pull to the right hand edge of tag…

115 c/p re-size by 65% rotate 45° to the right and pull to the left hand edge of tube…

82 c/p re-size by 75% pull to the bottom edge of the snow…

90 c/p re-size by 45% pull to the very edge of the bottom snow…

9 c/p re-size by 25% pull to the lower right hand edge of tag…

69 c/p re-size by 15% pull to the left hand edge pull it over the end of the log with snow…

131 c/p re-size by 55% pull to the very bottom layer, to make it look like it’s snowing on the tag…

Go to the very bottom of your tag, flood fill with paper 20 apply the winter mask from Dee, merge the layers into on group up-size it by 105% then add a sharpen more and add a drop shadow with these settings

Vertical 5

Horizontal 3

Opacity 50

Blur 5

Color Black

Make sure you add a new layer on the top of your tag, for your copyright and give credit to the kit maker if he/she says it's needed...
