Mysteries Lady of the
Night
This tutorial was
written in Corel X5, it is written in hopes you have a working knowledge of a
graphics program..
This is written out
of my own mind on August 5, 2014
By LadyDragus (Trish
Schaffer)
It was inspired by a
PTU tube by
Designs by Norella
The name of the poser is Amaris
She sells at a few
stores, but you can
Buy them at her store
I am also using a PTU
scrap kit by
Rieneke Designs
She sells at
different stores, but I got this as
A creative team
member for
Scrap Candy

I am using a FTU mask

When working with a
full size tube/poser you always want to make a new layer, paste the full size
tube and re-size it using your pixels re-size where the height is 550tall, then
crop a close up, of the full size, you will have to re-size it for the tag…
Open a 620x620 size
tag
Element56 c/p re-size
by 85% leave in the middle of the tag…
Take your close up of
the tube/poser you made and re-size it down by 30% pull it even with the bottom
of the frame…
Element11 c/p re-size
by 80% pull to the bottom of the tube/frame…
Element45 c/p re-size
by 50% pull to the left hand edge of your tag…
Element55 c/p re-size
by 70% pull to the middle of the plant, add a high pass sharpen with these
settings
Radius 15
Strength 100
Blend Mode: Hard
Light
Element9 c/p re-size
by 50% pull to the far right hand of your tag…
Element24 c/p re-size
by 60% pull in front of the wavy vines…
Element44 c/p it
should cover the most of your tag….
Element50 c/p re-size
by 50% pull to the left hand side of your tag, then copy re-sized version using
Control+E, paste it mirror it and pull it to the right hand side of tag, the
two edges meet in the middle…
Element17 c/p re-size
by 50% pull down to the “bridge” of the tag…
Element54 c/p re-size
by 30% pull to the edge of the bridge…
Element5 c/p re-size
by 50% pull to the right hand side of the tag, to where he is laying on the end
of the boards…
Element20 c/p mirror
re-size by 55% pull up on one of the vines, so it looks like’s it coming out of
it, the end of them meld with the vine color, add a sharpen more to the
flowers…
Element 2 open use
Shift+D and apply this colorization #
Saturation255, it
will make the element purple…
Then paste this as
it’s own layer over all layers…
Open paper8 flood
fill your bottom layer, apply mask, merge into one layer, add a High Pass
Sharpen from above then up-size it by 110%
Go back to the upper
top most layer, and add a new raster layer
So you can add your
copyright and whatever saying you wish to use on the tag..
