I’m doing a Time Line Banner tutorial

The size I use is 825x315

Paper6 flood fill bottom layer

Elem 2 c/p mirror image and pull to the bottom of your banner

You will want to put a White Drop shadow on the element

These Settings

Vertical 5

Horizontal 3

Opacity 100

Blur 5

Color White

Take your cat tube and paste it

then pull it over the to far right hand side of banner…

Elem 65 c/p re-size it  by 75% pull it to the upper

top right hand corner of your banner

Elem 55 c/p x4(all on one layer)

Take the first one; put it on the bottom right hand corner of frame

Use Control + E and paste it 3 more times each on a strip of the frame…

Elem 60 c/p re-size by 45% pull to the second opening in the frame…

Elem22 while element is open use your selection tool and copy out just the top two item on the element , c/p that selection and paste it on the far left hand side of the frame…

Elem 53 c/p pull to the left hand side of your banner

Elem 8 c/p re-size by 75% pull to the left hand side of the cat element

Elem 20 copy and paste it , then using Ctrl+E paste it 3 more times over the banner

Add your copyright and what ever saying you wish to use on the banner

The banner size for groups are 801x250 a little smaller than your timeline

But still easy enough to work with…

Paper 8 flood fill the bottom layer

Element 40 c/p pull to the left hand side of banner, paste it again mirror and pull it to the right hand side of the layer

Element 6 c/p pull to the left hand side of banner,

Element 9 c/p re-size by 50% rotate 45° to the right pull in the lower left hand corner of your banner..

Take your tube and paste it as a new layer pull her down so the face and midriff is showing, then pull her over the right hand side of banner, then  I added a sharpen more to the tube, and a drop shadow, to make it stand out above the tag, use what ever drop shadow you wish to use

Element 27 c/p pull to the far right hand side of banner,

Element 26 c/p mirror image pull to the right side of banner overlapping 27…

Element 47 c/p re-size by 60% and pull it to the right hand side of your banner also…

Element 11 c/p re-size by 40% pull him to the left hand side where it looks like he is sitting on the flower, then re-size him by 70% pull down to lower corner…

Go up to the upper top layer and create new raster layer,

Use your Buttonize settings with

5 Height

5 Width

Edge: Transparent

Color from the background

Opacity 100

Add your copy right make sure you post it on the banner where it can be seen and readable ok

Add what name you want on the tag

Unzip the template and save it to a folder

Use Shift+D to make a new one so you don’t mess up the template, and it will retain the copy layers Dave has named them which we’ll use in the tutorial…

Flood Fill Main Background with paper 8

Paper 5 Flood Fill Right Light Grey Square,

Middle Light Grey Square

Left Light Grey Square

On the Right black line add a griadent glow of white(3)

Do the same on the Left Black line also

Top Grey Stirp and Bottom Grey Strip

Flood fill with Glitter paper 1 add a gradient glow of white to both layers

Click on Middle Light Grey Square, and paste your tube, using your selection tool crop just her face out of the square, then delete the rest of the tube

Element 3 c/p re-size by 45% pull to the right hand side of the tag, and copy it then paste it on the left hand side of the tag

Element 20 c/p re-size by 20% pull it to the bottom of the right hand side of the tag…

Element 35 c/p re-size by 35% mirror it pull it to the left hand side of the tag, sharpen the element…

Element 77 c/p rorate 90° to the right and flip the element, add a sharpen to the element and pull it to the bottom of the tag, behind the skull

Go to the upper top layer and c/p paste element 29 upsize it by 105% so it fits all the way across the tag..

Now take Element 22 c/p re-size by 25% and pull it to the twisted part of the ribbon, sharpen it..

Add your copyright layer to the tag, and what ever name you want on it and your done…

I’m using Brush Strokes-Spatter it’s a free plug in…

The tube has many layers so you will have to choose what color, what size you want to have your tube for the tut

I’m using 3 different size’s not sure which one will work best

Frame 1 c/p re-size by 60% leave in the middle

Take your tube merge the ball layer with the purple dress c/p re-size by 50% pull to the middle of the frame make her waist touch the inside of the frame, then eraser the legs off the tube. Pull the tube flush with the outer left hand side, of the frame…

Elem 51c/p re-size by 55% pull to the edge of the tube covering the part you erased off

Element 16 c/p re-size by 70% pull it to the middle of the bow

Element 13 c/p re-size by 35% pull to the middle of the bow, sharpen the item

Element 31 c/p mirror re-size by 40% pull it by her elbow (should look like she is going to read the book)

Element 27 c/p re-size by 35% pull down by flower

Element 41 c/p re-size by 35% and pull on top of book,

add a drop shadow to the element

Element 44 c/p re-size by 55% pull to the right hand side of book

Go to the bottom layer (behind frame) c/p element9 re-size it by 50% now, copy the re-size and make it a border behind the frame it will leave a small hole in the middle of the flower’s, the edges should just show behind the frame

I’m using the plug-in Spatter

All the way on both

Spray Radius 25

Smoothness 15

Flood Fill the bottom layer with paper 5 go back to the flower’s add a gradient glow of white around the edges, make the opacity 55 then merge it down one layer

Then find a circle mask of your choice, and apply it to the layer, then merge group, and sharpen layer.. add a drop shadow to make the layer stand out more, add the same setting’s of Spatter to the merged mask..

Add your copyright and make sure to give credit to the kit maker if it is in her/his TOU!

You need to add a name or saying to the tag also, your watermark if you have one that is not a copyright symbol…

Open a 600x600 size of tag

Frame1 c/p re-size by 70% leave it in the middle of the tag…

Element1 c/p re-size by 60% pull to the right hand side of frame

Element 42 c/p re-size by 60% pull to the bottom of Element1…

Element 12 c/p re-size by 45% pull it to the top of the band

Element 7c/p re-size by 35% pull it to the left hand side of band

Element 5 c/p re-size by 30% add a sharpen to the element and pull it to the side of the spray bottle…

Element 8 c/p mirror the element, re-size by 30% pull in front of spray bottle and other bottle…

Element 3 c/p re-size by 50% pull to the top of Element 1

Element 20 c/p re-size by 50 pull to the middle of the flower add a sharpen to the element…

Element 6 c/p re-size by 50% pull it to the right hand side of ribbon, add a sharpen to the element…

Now click on Element 42 in your tag, take the close up of the tube and paste it above the band, re-size the tube by 50% pull it to where her middle is on top of the band…

Now take element 31 c/p it over the tube, re-size by 50% and pull it to the left hand side of band copy and paste it on the right hand side of band also

Element 33 c/p pull it to the bottom of your tube

Now click on the layer of your tag

Open Paper7 re-size the paper to a 600x600 tag background then copy the paper and paste as a new layer, add a sharpen to the paper, after pasteing this apply the mask you chose I used June6th off her site

Merge the group into one layer and add a drop shadow of your choosing.

Add a copyright to the tag and what ever saying you want to use and your done..
